The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is an introductory, knowledge based teaching qualification. It can be undertaken by individuals who are not yet in a teaching or training role (pre-service), or are currently teaching or training (in-service).
Depending on which units are studied, there is a minimum requirement to take part in micro teaching session. Micro teaching is an activity where trainee teachers prepare and deliver a short teaching and learning session to their peers. Our online course allows you to access other micro teach sessions to observe as part of your course if you do not have anyone to observe yourself.
Convenient learning on the move
This qualification is delivered on our online learning platform with full tutor support.
The materials can be accessed from anywhere by downloading the app.
Our courses are designed to be convenient and intuitive and delivered as part of a holistic approach that is supported by our awarding bodies.
The qualification is suitable for individuals who:
- need to complete a training qualification for insurance or compliance purposes such as in the beauty or care sectors
- deliver training and don’t currently have a recognised qualification
- are looking to deliver training
- are not yet in a teaching role (pre-service)
- are in a teaching role, or who have just started a teaching role (in-service)

- want a qualification without a minimum teaching practice requirement
- may have already achieved some Learning and Development units that can be brought forward into this teaching qualification (known as QCF equivalents).
Depending if you have any experience or not, you can choose either of the optional units from group ‘B’ that may be relevant.
If you have no experience and you are not delivering training in work you will be required to complete the micro teach option as part of your package (Unit 2 of Group B).

What our customers say...
Feedback is very important to us. Here are some of our customer’s testimonials.
"Good morning, I am a Cpl of the Royal Air Force Fire Service and I was passed your name to send my kindest regards and complements referencing one of your tutors, Mary Matthews. I have recently completed and passed my Level 3 AET with BBE with the unquestionable assistance of Mary. I had to complete this course whilst deployed on a 4 month tour to the Falkland Islands working 24 hours on 24 hours off for the entire period. unfortunately the Falkland Islands are not up to the British standards when it comes to mobile phones or internet along with the restricted internet access when using military computer, Which made completing my course extremely difficult in regards to accessing BBE’s web page and downloading the course content. Thankfully I was assigned Mary, her professionalism and passion to ensure I had all the assistance needed was next to non! As I am dyslexic Mary went through all the course work with me and made templates of a learner plans. Mary informed me that I could contact her out of hours as there was a 4 hour time difference, also as I was unable to access the BBE website Mary sent me all the course content along with uploading it onto the BBE site for me. I don’t think that I would of passed the course without her high calibre professionalism with all areas of her job. In conclusion I am highly impressed with the help I received from Mary and I will be highly recommending BBE course solely on her actions"Dan, Falklands - Level 3 Award Education and Training (AET / PTLLS)
