The Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET – formally PTLLS) is an introductory, knowledge-based teaching qualification which can be undertaken by individuals who are not yet in a teaching role (pre-service), or are currently teaching (in-service). The CAVA (formally A1) qualification is intended for those who assess both occupational competence in the work environment and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in a workshop, classroom or other training environment rather than assessing competence in a work environment.

What our customers say…
I would like to thank you for the certificate and the outstanding provision and training provided throughout the BBE course. I was worried about my ability to complete the course via distance learning but the support and guidance by my tutor and the BBE Team was invaluable and the qualification provided me with a much better understanding for teaching first aid.
Good morning, I am a Cpl of the Royal Air Force Fire Service and I was passed your name to send my kindest regards and complements referencing one of your tutors, Mary Matthews. I have recently completed and passed my Level 3 AET with BBE with the unquestionable assistance of Mary. I had to complete this course whilst deployed on a 4 month tour to the Falkland Islands working 24 hours on 24 hours off for the entire period. unfortunately the Falkland Islands are not up to the British standards when it comes to mobile phones or internet along with the restricted internet access when using military computer, Which made completing my course extremely difficult in regards to accessing BBE’s web page and downloading the course content. Thankfully I was assigned Mary, her professionalism and passion to ensure I had all the assistance needed was next to non! As I am dyslexic Mary went through all the course work with me and made templates of a learner plans. Mary informed me that I could contact her out of hours as there was a 4 hour time difference, also as I was unable to access the BBE website Mary sent me all the course content along with uploading it onto the BBE site for me. I don’t think that I would of passed the course without her high calibre professionalism with all areas of her job. In conclusion I am highly impressed with the help I received from Mary and I will be highly recommending BBE course solely on her actions
